As our company – and customers – grew up, it occurred to us that reading glasses could, and should, be every bit as stylish and contemporary as our sunglasses. So we turned our designers and technologists loose, and revolutionized the readers category for a new generation of people who didn’t want to look like their grandparents or pay prescription-grade prices.

Foster Grant is proud to partner with non-profit organizations that are making a difference in people’s lives. Since 2008, we have donated over 11 million pairs of reading glasses to RestoringVision – helping people who would otherwise not have access to eyewear.

In May 2020 we launched our Specs for Specs® program. For every pair of glasses purchased from the Sofia Vergara® x Foster Grant® collection, a pair of readers will be donated to people with vision problems in underserved communities around the world, through our partnership with RestoringVision.
