The rest of each lens is unmagnified for longer distance viewing. "I have two pairs of these sunglasses and think I am getting a third. I lost a pair and need to know I have a backup always. My favorite feature is that they are bifocals, can't understand why more sunglasses aren't made this way. While in the car it's a great advantage to have them on and also when at an outdoor restaurant so I don't have to switch to my reading glasses when looking at the menu! they look fabulous on!"
