Used to be great, but now they're terrible
"I ordered a pair of the Kramer reading glasses 2. 50X from another online retailer, because I already have one pair of the Kramers and I like them the best of all my readers so I wanted to have an extra pair on hand (I've probably had my pair for 7-8 years now). My new pair just arrived today, and they are not even close to being as good quality as my existing Kramers. Clearly something changed with FG's manufacturer, as the lens quality is very bad, with a very short range of clarity. My old Kramers are clear from 10" to about 3' away, but these are only clear from maybe 10" to 16". I can't even read my computer monitor clearly without leaning in close. I am going to return them, but I wanted to share that FG has a serious quality control issue that did not exist when I bought my previous pair of Kramers. Be aware that if you've worn these for a long time like I have, then they are currently being made very poorly and you are likely to be very disappointed."
