The frames just keep breaking

"I'm a 70 year old guy that is not out playing football with these glasses on. When I bought these glasses, I saw the many reviews of frames breaking which threw a red flag for me. Thinking about those reviews, I'm 70 and have never had any eye glasses or sun glasses break on me. Whoever wrote these reviews must be playing a rough sport or something else to break frames. I ordered 2 pair and sure enough when I was putting them on after a couple months, the frame just broke over the lens. I call FG and they sent me out a free pair, same thing happened a second time. FG really needs to beef up the design on these Shake glasses or switch to a more sturdy plastic. So now FG has my money and I have no glasses. I called and there was no offer to refund my purchase price."

Shake

"I love the bifocal lens design; But I have two complaints. The frames are extremely weak and brittle. The lenses, for some reason, our hard to clean and keep clean. I am 67, and needless to say I've had hundreds of sunglasses in my lifetime, so I've got a pretty good baseline. Fortunately, I do have extra lenses – because the frames keep breaking!"
