"I would have given these glasses a 5, but one of the three I purchased came in damaged (one of the nose guards is missing). See attached picture. Thank you"

Bad design of the ear pieces. The soft touch hinge breaks.

"I have had two pair of these glasses and both have broken at the soft touch hinge under the soft plastic cover. Poor design and a weak spot."

I would not buy these glasses again

"The right ear piece broke after a couple of months. The little metal piece on the right ear piece broke. Could you please send me a replacement ear piece or the little metal piece at the end that appears to unscrew."

Flimsy temple handles

"When I look down the glasses slide off my face. They fell off the first time I used them and landed face down on a cement driveway and scratched the lenses. Not happy since these are not cheap readers. Not woth the price."

Nicely made, sturdy frame

"I am tired of replacing broken plastic frames. I finally decided to go with metal frames, despite the undesirable nose pads that they all possess. I have other FG plastic frames that have endured, however, I am constantly torquing down the loose screws on them. I'm hoping these more expensive metal (titanium) readers do not require any more maintenance than an occasional clean and adjust. Let's see how it goes."

"I've purchased many Foster Grant readers for many years - this pair is defective. Please repair or replace. Thank you."

"Incredibly disappointed in the quality of these glasses. I ordered two pairs of the same style, both were broken in the same place (mid length of the right arm) within a week of normal use. I have less expensive readers that are still going strong, I will not purchase FG's again."

"I was reluctant to buy these because of price, but assumed Foster Grant quality would be worth it, and I liked the style. Within two weeks a temple simply broke in two with normal handling. Very disappointed."
