Limited WarrantyEffective 06/16/2021, all eyewear products (“Products”) purchased on the FosterGrant.com website are warranted to the original purchaser by FGX Direct, LLC ("FGX") against manufacturer’s defects for 90 days from the date of purchase. Notwithstanding the foregoing, all Solar Shield®, Haven®, Solar Comfort®, Guardian Pro and Polar Optics® Products purchased on the FosterGrant.com website or the DioptcisSunwear.com website are warranted to the original purchaser by FGX against manufacturer's defects for one year from the date of purchase. This limited warranty is only valid with proof of purchase. FGX will, at its option, repair or replace any Product found by FGX to be defective. This limited warranty does not cover improper or unreasonable use, normal wear and tear, scratched lenses, lost screws or accidental damage. 

Repair or replacement shall be limited to the styles and colors of the Product that are available at the time of the repair or replacement. Any repaired or replaced product shall also remain subject to the original warranty from the date of the original purchase, and any repair or replacement shall not extend the original warranty period in any manner or start a new warranty period. Claims must be accompanied by the following to ensure proper processing: order number, return contact details (name, address, phone, email), a brief note detailing the problem with the Product and how it occurred, and a photo of the defect. 

FGX has the right to request the Product in the claim is returned. If this request is made, a prepaid shipping label can be downloaded here.

 

Please package all Products carefully to avoid any further damage. FGX will not be held responsible for damage caused by improper shipping or non-receipt. Please allow 4-6 weeks for claims to be processed. FGX will pay for the cost of shipping repaired or replaced products to U.S. and Canadian addresses. 

This limited warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state (or country by country). This limited warranty is subject to change without notice.

PRODUCTS SOLD BY FGX ARE SOLD ONLY TO THE SPECIFICATIONS SPECIFICALLY SET FORTH BY FGX IN WRITING. FGX’S SOLE OBLIGATION UNDER THIS LIMITED WARRANTY SHALL BE REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT OF NON-CONFORMING PRODUCTS. BUYER ASSUMES ALL RISK WHATSOEVER AS TO THE RESULT OF THE USE OF THE PRODUCTS PURCHASED.

  1. Contact the Warranty department either by phone (866-807-0195) or email (wainfo@fgxi.com) to initiate a limited warranty claim. 

  2. Customer must supply:

    1. The order number associated with the Product in the claim.

    2. The name, address, phone, and email address associated with the order with the Product in the claim.

    3. A description of the problem with the Product and how it occurred.

    4. A photo clearly showing the problem with the Product in the claim.

  3. If the claim is approved, we will set up the replacement Product.

  4. If FGX requests the Product be returned, print a prepaid return shipping label here. Please package all Products carefully to avoid any further damage. FGX will not be held responsible for damage caused by improper shipping or non-receipt. 

Please allow approximately 4-6 weeks for claims to be processed.
